2010. Year 3.

Well, my blog is not quite three years old, but it's getting there, kinda. Rolling into 2010 my blog will probably include a lot more of other things other than cars. I don't really include my day to day life crisis type stuff in a blog type setting, but I'll be posting topics related to graphic design, music, lifestyle, current events, gaming, world life issues, and random things that are going on in my life.

I've been listening to a lot of indie music, that's mostly what I've grown up on I guess you can say. Music that people "never heard of". Stuff that isn't on the radio (mostly) and stuff that isn't too common. I like unique things and unique sounds as the current trends of today include a whole lot of "30 second before the repeating 2 minute hook" and auto-tune (courtesy made famous by T-Pain). I'll be posting some music you are probably not familiar with, and I'll try to include a link to where you can listen to them.

For starts, the music will be posted on the right in a playlist. I will include 7 songs for every month so that you can check out and listen to.

Only two more years left of writing this blog, of course.

The world ends in 2012. Nahmeens?

New Parts

I got a few new parts, my car needs an alignment bad and I go through tires under regular driving monthly. Getting tired of buying junk tires all the time I finally invested in some suspension that would help me adjust my alignments. On another note, my clutch has been slipping, so I picked up one for really cheap for $160. Also for those who do not know, the S14/15 SR20DE (maybe DET too) uses the VQ oil filter, when you go to look for one, VQ35DE uses the same one, aka G35/350z.

After I get all the stance correct and suspension dialed in, it's time for paint and boost. Eventually this car will have streetable daily & reliable boost power. It's been a while since I've updated but I'm coming near to the end of things to buy list, I keep forgetting what I need so I have to keep writing it down. I don't care for 5 lug and all that jazz, would be nice but not my priority.

Facelift (face sag?)

This car is a lot of trouble. I still have lots to fix on it relating to electrical issues. I moved the front driver harness higher up on the frame (so much you can kinda see it bulging in the driver fender, temporary fix for sure. Blew two 75Amp fuses over two weeks, multiple 15Amp fuses for brakelights and headlight fuses. I have a major grounding issue somewhere. Sunova... Stupid car.

In other news, please do not drive while texting or drive while sleeping. My good friend jon lost hsi car because he was sleepy at the wheel, really shitty situation, I am glad he is ok and unscathed but please be sure not to drive tired. Also please do not text while driving, it is very much worse than a DUI.
